October 31, 2010 - It was another great night of music this Thursday at the Conga Room with Salsa singer Domingo Quinonez. Of Puerto Rican descent, although himself born in New Jersey, Quinonez stepped on stage looking thinner than the last time he performed in L.A., decked out in a suit and two-tone shoes, and smiling wide to the good size group that gathered to see him.
Quinonez performance was part of El Gran Bailazo (The Grand Dance), a series of concerts ongoing at the Conga Room on Thursday nights and that will culminate November 4 with The Spanish Harlem Orchestra. Tickets to this event are $25, but a $5 discount is offered if on guest list. Send your name to dena@vidasalsera.com to be added.
