Handsome , athletic Ingo Rademacher will be back for the 50th anniversary of General Hospital where he has played the sexy, dashing,charismatic corporate raider Jasper "Jax' Jacks. Jax is a very popular character who Ingo has played since 1991. Ingo is also a contestant on this years "Dancing with the Stars".
"Extra's" Renee Bargh visited with Ingo and dance partner Kym Johnson at their rehearsal. Ingo told her about his return to daytime. "I had to keep it a secret for so long… I had to lie."
"It's a nice little come back with Vanessa Marcil… the Jax and Brenda characters back together for a little bit. (Jax and Brenda were a supercouple with Sonny Corinthos(Maurice Benard) as the third part of the love triangle.) It was a great idea to bring the characters back for the 50th."
Ingo has already started shooting his own "GH" scenes and Vanessa will join him in front of the camera later this week.
Ingo also told Renee he asked "DWTS" 1st winner and "General Hospital" star Kelly Monaco for advice. "I called Kelly right when I was talking about coming to the show and she gave me a rundown of what the process is. She said it's really hard, but you're going to love it."
We know we will love watching Ingo take on another of his many physical workouts. He is a water sport entusiast and a Yolo board champ.
Dancing With The Stars will begin Monday the 18th of March at 8 p.m.on ABC. Be sure to vote for Ingo each week.
