Dancing With The Stars is throwing the handsome Ingo Rademacher and his partner Kym Johnson a loop giving them a very un-ballroom like dance, that being Contemporary. Last year, Kelly Monaco and Melissa Rycroft were given this dance, but they were well into the season before having to perform this difficult dance. How will Ingo do on his very first dance? How did he end up with this outlandish choice? Kym Johnson appeared thrown for a loop by the assignment, calling it "really out there." She did, however, express confidence in Ingo's ability to rise to the challenge. Whatever the answer is to these questions we know two things. Ingo is in amazing shape and his physical regime including Yolo paddle boarding and many other water related sports have kept him supple, healthy and super sexy all of which will help him on the show. He recently tweeted his appreciation of his partner saying "My partner Kym Johnson is amazing and Aussie!!!!! MAAAATE! good fun" and it seems they will be amazing together.
Should the style have a home on a reality show that features ballroom dance officianado's who do not know much about it is debatable and whether it should have been offered in the first dance has come under question by many fans who are less than happy about it. DWTSGossip expressed the disgust of the fans by tweeting "Ingo's 1st dance on #DWTS is contemporary. WTF???...Didn't @dancingabc learn anything?" We will see on March 18th how this affects Ingo's chances.
