Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade (1989)

Young Indiana Jones (River Phoenix) has just found a cross that is very valuable and very important. He makes it home and tries to show his father Professor Henry Jones (Sean Connery) what he has come across.

The sheriff and the man he stole it from have come for the cross and he has to give it back. Some years later he will retrieve the cross again. This time he gives it to Marcus Brody (Denholm Elliott)who will put it in a museum.

Indiana's father at this time is looking for the Holy Grail. He has been looking for this artifact all his adult life. He is in Venice when a German woman who is working for the Nazi's has him kidnapped. Elsa (Alison Doody) is also wanting the Holy Grail but for the wrong reasons.

Indiana (Harrison Ford) is approached by Walter Donovan (Julian Glover) to search for the Grail. He had Indiana's father working for him until he was picked up by the Nazi's.

Indiana agrees and the search is on. He travels to Venice where his father was last seen. He finds what he is looking for until it is stolen by Elsa. He and Marcus Brody head to Germany in search of the elder Jones. They eventually find him and this is where Indiana finds out who he is up against and that is almost everybody. Once they have the Indiana's father they head to the middle east where with the help of Sallah (John Rhys- Davies) they go in search of the Holy Grail. Unfortunately, the Nazi's are on their trail. Once there the Nazi's find out where the Grail is hidden and now it is race to see who can get it first.

This action adventure is brought to us by Director Steven Spielberg and is a classic. It has to be one of the greatest in action adventure films that has ever been made. The cast is great and the actors do such a fine job. This is one of those movies that if you have never seen it then you surely must. So take the time and see if the Holy Grail can be found and by whom. Enjoy!
