Incipio won many awards and recognitions this year because they did something extremely well, they kept their goal in mind and created, simple, elegant products that everyone can appreciate. The Stowaway is no exception.
The Stowaway is a hard cover case with a silicone core, and the buttons are covered with rubber buttons as well. The silence switch is exposed but the size of the case keeps it protected. So what makes the Stowaway special? In this digital age a wallet can seem like a relic we carry around because we haven't come up with better solution. The Stowaway is an attempt to remedy that.
The back of the stowaway case opens up and has six silicone tabs that help to hold down credit cards and ID's. This isn't for a person that keeps 5 credit cards with them at all times, this is for the on the go, two credit card and an ID kind of person. You'll find you won't comfortably fit more than 3 cards in the back of the cover. The door of the cover also acts as the leg of the stand that the case turns into.
The case plastic on the case is glossy, so finger prints will show up easily, and the case will contract scratches and blemishes easily. The case is not meant for the person who wants to keep there phone case in a pristine looking condition.
Overall the Incipio Stowaway is a case for the person who doesn't need much in there wallet, and can eliminate it all together. The kickstand feature works surprisingly well, despite you might feel it's a bit shaky. If the case had a matte cover or a carbon fiber cover the case would be better for apperance purposes.
