Inception DVD/Blu-ray Release

Inception Review

The summer smash hit, Inception, will be released this Tuesday the 7th of December.

Here are a few local Best Buy locations within the Minneapolis area to buy this movie.

The reviews of this movie were absolutely amazing and this review is, quite the same.  It’s hard to bash against this intriguing, mind-bending movie.  From the visionaries displayed across the screen to the acting and direction of the dense plot, Inception is an absolute must see and must own!

Cobb, played by Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, The Departed) navigates through the minds by entering into peoples’ dreams to extract vital information.  On the run from U.S. laws, he cannot return home and now faces even a deadlier problem when he failed to extract information for a job.  Now Cobb is faced with one option to choose from, which being to take a job offer from Saito (Ken Wantanabe), the head of a competing firm.  In doing this, Cobb will not only be able to stay alive from the men after him, but he will be able to return home to the U.S and his children.

He decides to construct a team and have them help dig deep into the mind of the heir to Saito’s competitor played by Cillian Murphy.  With a team constructed with Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Ariadne (Ellen Page), Saito, Yusef (Dileep Rao), and Eames (Tom Hardy), they begin to enter the mind of Fischer not to extract, but rather plant an idea; inception.  From bullets to a “shade”, the movie opens your own mind to the scene of the crime and creates an illusionary masterpiece.

With a deep plot full of small important clues throughout, Inception calls for multiple viewings.  The idea of entering, extracting, and eventually inception, took director and writer Christopher Nolan quite a long time to perfect.  This should go without saying, but without doubt his best idea and masterpiece.  The movie deserves the five out of five stars.

The DVD and Blu-ray are packed to the brim with extra features.  If you are vying to see behind the scenes, to look and dive deeper into dreams, then pick this up asap!  The movie comes in the typical DVD or Blu-ray format, but as many movie releases, there are the extra packs.  These packs contain the DVD, Blu-ray, and a digital copy.  This combo pack is the best pick up, especially if you are in between the switch of DVD to Blu-ray.
