Mickey Mouse Glove Wireless Optical Mouse

Maybe it was the description that sold me: “Glove is all you need.”

Certainly it was the charm of a mouse shaped like a famous mouse’s gloved hand.

But the Mickey Mouse Glove Wireless Optical Mouse ($39.95 from the Disney Store, plus shipping) is fun and functional. I bought it recently as a gift, and it was actually two gifts in one, because its plug and play capabilities meant zero hassles or headaches for the recipients.

The following are the features of the wireless mouse:
• 2.4GHz reliable wireless, up to 30 feet/10M use distance
• Plug and play
• Resolution 800DPI
• Auto-sleeping mode for prolonging battery life
• Support USB 1.1/2.0
• Windows and Macintosh compatible
• Comes with nano transceiver, easily stored in the bottom of mouse for travel
• Part of the D-Tech Collection

And here are the system requirements:

• Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7
• MAC 10.3 or later
• Computer with USB port

The only drawback of the mouse is that it requires 2 AAA batteries (included) and there’s no off switch, so it’s a good idea to keep a stash of spares. Other than that shortcoming, this gadget will have you working hand in glove with your mouse.
