ImprovBoston's Family Show

ImprovBoston Family Night

ImprovBoston has never failed to make an audience laugh so hard they had to hold onto the arm rests to keep from falling out of their chair. And did you know they also have a show for all ages? It’s called The Family Show, and it’s every Saturday at 6pm.

When parents first hear the phrase “Fun for the whole family,” they sigh and figure they have to sit through a show with puppets, dancing bears, and cartoon voices. But not at ImprovBoston! Improv Boston’s Family Show is a spectacular, intricate performance that’ll have you humming the songs on your way home (they were made up on the spot too!).

The show is simple. The team is made up of six people who take a suggestion from the audience and roll with it, all while throwing in catchy songs. They even have games for the audience to play as well! Parents, children, even grouchy teenagers laughed, and got up to participate.

“It’s our first time here,” says Rachel Noonan, mother of two. “I wasn’t sure what to expect, but we had the best time! Seeing my kids run up and participate was so funny. I’m glad there’s a place for them to do that.”

ImprovBoston embraces individuality, and encourages everyone to participate and explore their creative side. That’s why they have discounted tickets for children, and improvisation classes for them to take. They ensure everyone has a great time, even the people at the box office joke around with you!

The Family Show is a marvelous, side-splitting performance everyone must go see! It's every Saturday at 6pm.
