Illumask Anti-Aging Phototherapy Mask

I'm all for a good face mask. I mean, isn't that what Sunday nights are all about? So, I was excited to test out the Illumask Anti-Aging Phototherapy Mask. The Illumask Anti-Aging Phototherapy Mask isn't like other masks. It actually looks like a hockey mask (sans Jason from Friday the 13th), but with built in LED lights.

Light therapy is very popular in spas and doctor offices. It can help anything from aging or acne, to removing stretch marks. Prices of the visits can be a bit steep and sessions can be up to an hour long. With Illumask, the idea is to get professional results at a low cost ($29.99 a mask), safely at-home.

The mask lasts a month (30 sessions) and only have to be worn for 15 minutes each day.

The Verdict:

Illumask Anti-Aging Phototherapy Mask actually works. As skeptical as I was about a light therapy mask that can be found at my local Walmart, my skin did feel tighter and much smoother than before. It doesn't hurt and can be easily used right before bed every night. With just a push of the button on the mask's remote the red light comes on and after 15 minutes, it shuts off.

I mostly used the mask after washing my face and before applying my night creams.

The mask isn't heavy and fits comfortably on my face. There's no eye holes, so there's no watching tv or checking your instagram while you wear it.

It works. It won't be an overnight miracle tool, but with a great skin regiment, wearing SPF regularly and using the Illumask every day, you can achieve great, tight skin.
