iheartkeenwah

Almost a complete protein, quinoa has fast become the best choice for breakfast (oatmeal), lunch (mixed with sea and root vegetables) or dinner (side dish or simply mixed with veggies). But what about quinoa as a snack? That's where iheartkeenwah began, when four girls who toured through Bolivia learned of the versatility in the little seed that has since become the forefront of nutrition.

These ladies headed to the kitchen and concocted something ready-to-eat, mixing quinoa with other all-natural ingredients to come up with a crunchy, sweet treat to satisfy late morning or afternoon cravings.

Personally, I buried two sample packages in my purse -- in case of emergency hunger. One day at the office, I was out of lunch bag items and needed some sustenance. I remembered the ginger/peanut package in my purse and decided to try it -- and it was the perfect filler, tasty enough to feel like I was snacking, compacted enough to get a good bite and chewing action, and filling enough to hold me over until I got home for dinner.

The next time I reached for my purse, I was traveling with a group of writers. Although we were well fed on our journey, that in-between time got the best of us. Instead of turning to an ice-cream cone or some other unhealthy option as a snack, I pulled out my cranberry/nut iheartkeenwah package and we shared a few squares -- and that was all that we needed.

Keeping these small packages around is a healthy way to ward off reaching for what will surely shorten your lifespan, so, yes. iheartkeenwah.
