The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is located just off of Interstate 4 between two of Orlando, Florida's most popular theme parks. But anyone staying at the resort won't necessarily need to plan activities off the property. There's plenty to keep guests busy at the 1,500 acre oasis "hidden" in Orlando. And there are several delicious onsite dining options as well.
The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has a glass elevator so guests can take in the 18 story atrium lobby on their ride up to their rooms. There's several comfortable sitting areas throughout the lobby. Lamont's Gift Shop and an art gallery are also located in the resort's lobby. Lombard Contemporary Art is a Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress gallery that features art from regional and international artists. Paintings, sculptures, and other works of art can be viewed in the gallery just outside of Cascade American Bistro.
There are several restaurants and lounges that serve a variety of cuisines. Many of the menus feature food from natural, local, and sustainable sources. Hemingway's serves local sustainable fish, specialty steaks, and chef creations. Cascade American Bistro offers fine dining in a beautiful setting. Several of the tables have views of the pristine property, including views of Lake Windsong. Guests at Cascade American Bistro can also enjoy the soothing sounds of the 35-foot tall mermaid fountain. Servings at Cascade are more than generous, and the service is excellent. The meal presentations are feasts for the eyes. Palm Cafe is a great option for deli-style, casual dining. Salads, sandwiches, and hand tossed pizzas are just a few of the menu items available at Palm Cafe. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has several additional meal and snack locations onsite.
The signature 800,000 gallon pool, the tropical landscaping, and the numerous water sport options make the outdoor amenities a highlight of a stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. Bikes in several sizes and varieties are available for guests of the resort to use. Camp Hyatt is a kid's activities program designed for children ages 3 to 12 years old (and completely toilet trained and out of diapers). Camp Hyatt is available on weekends only during the winter, spring, and fall. A fire pit makes evening marshmallow roasting and s'mores making possible (for a fee). Many of the resort amenities and activities are covered by the mandatory resort fees, but some of them require reservations and/or additional fees.
