Eyebrows are hands down the most important part of your face. They reflect your expressions, hair color, and personality. Most women tend to have a love hate relationship with their eyebrows because they tend to look more like sisters rather than twins. After accepting that they will never fully mirror each other, it has been a priority of mine to make sure they are given top notch care.
My secret? I get my brows threaded to maintain their shape. This is currently a fad in Hollywood, but it's something East Indian women have done for ages. Basically, a crafty lady grabs a special spool of thread and then maneuvers it in such a way that she contour your brows with razor sharp precision. It doesn't hurt, but it may feel uncomfortable the first few times you get it done. Currently, the most popular threading spot is Ziba Beauty, which has locations all over Los Angeles and its suburbs.
To keep up the perfectly manicured brow look I use a special brow pencil and brush. Just like the hair on your head, brows need to be tamed by brushing. After which a brow pencil will help you fill in thin areas or imperfections. A brow pencil really helps you bring out your natural shape and completes any makeup look. I usually go for a brow pencil color that's slighter lighter than my brows. Right now, I'm using Ziba's Imlee eye brow pencil (medium) and am loving it's quality for the price. As you fill them in your brows will become more dramatic- but it's up to you how wild you want to be!
