"How to Change the World in 30 Seconds"....turn pages, save lives.

There's a common statement among animal activists; Saving the life of one dog won't change the world, but it will surely change the world for that one dog.

Author C.A. Wulff disagrees with this statement, if only a little. It's not that the life of the dog isn't changed, but Wulff believes that this changes the world, one step at a time.

She writes of this, and more, in her new book, "How to Change the World in 30 Seconds: A Web Warrior's Guide to Animal Advocacy Online". Her writings never stray from her love of animals. But unlike her past works, like “Born Without a Tail” and “Circling the Waggins; How 5 Misfit Dogs Saved Me from Bewilderness”, “30 Seconds...” will not grab at the heartstrings of the reader. Instead, she's compiled a full guide to animal advocacy, to be read by the novice or seasoned veteran.

At just under 120 pages, for some this may be a quick read. But Wulff's book, and her wording, isn't to be read cover to cover and placed on a shelf. While the writing is easy to follow, it's thorough in its instructions. Each page, each word, and each thought can be analyzed to simply save lives. And then, start all over. Read the book again, and see what you've missed.

Any good salesman will tell you that in order to really push sales, you can't simply show an item or idea. It all comes down to two simple questions, “What does it do, and why do I need it?”

Every step in this book perfectly describes why certain actions are necessary, and if followed, what the desired outcome can be. Take, for instance, the guide to social media. One of the issues many advocates have, especially when it comes to Facebook, is that the audience does not always fit the cause. Friends, family, and acquaintances are not always like-minded. Nor are they inclined to share advocacy posts with their friends list, be they fall on deaf ears. It's important to find the audience before you preach.

Some may find this book to be reminders of what's already known. Still, it's a page turner, with so much to teach. While there are so many established advocates out in the world, none should be opposed to learning more. Her collection of Craigs List responses, alone, makes this book an overwhelming "must have." How does one creatively e-mail the person behind the :FREE TO A GOOD HOME" listing without alienating him? Wulff can help!

And that, alone, makes this book a must have for everyone interested in using the world wide web as an instrument to save lives. You may not save them all, but you never know unless you try.

C.A. Wulff's, "How to Change the World in 30 Seconds: A Web Warrior's Guide
to Animal Advocacy Online" is now available in print, but can also be downloaded FREE from the Kindle Store from 2/14/2013-2/15/2013!

Don't just read the book. Share. Share often. While the words and techniques may not reach out to everyone, the people who find faith and follow the instructions can change the world, for one dog, for all animals, for mankind. It starts with the turn of the page.
