Article by Joe Sioufi - Houston Livestock rodeo: I had been to the rodeo before, I had never been lost, walked for nothing in my life as I did in the 2011 Rodeo. I never missed a show, I am always on time, but I did at this rodeo. Each person I asked for a simple info that works there seems to be lost in the desert. I wonder why there is no buses taking people from one side to another, I took the rail (train) and by the time you arrive to get to the stadium you have to walk at least 15 min between pushy moody people, families walking 5 by 5, not to say 8 by 8 not willing to move or walk faster. Big people that have no energy, but the problem is not the people. It is the signs, they need clearer signs, better informed staff and buses to take people from the time they arrive to the site to the stadium where there is a show.

SHOWS: I had been invited to see Janet Jackson show and Brad Paisley show at the Rodeo, I wonder why there is no time listed officially on ticket and rodeo website about when the show is going to start??? Why is it not clear? BETTER SHOW LISTING PLESASE!

FOOD: Expensive unhealthy food, they do not even have cups in case you want to share a bottle of Coke with a friend. I had to take those small cups that are usually used to put mayonnaise in them. I used them to drink Coke. Expensive food with no service. BETTER FOOD PLEASE!

BUS: No bus service inside the huge land of the rodeo, if you have a knee problem, back problem, or you just hate walking long distance between all kind of people, do not go there. BUS SERVICE PLEASE!

SIGNS: Signs are made to make people's life easier, to be seen easly and understood in less than 2 seconds. There are few signs here and there but they need to make them bigger, and more visible. MORE SIGNS PLEASE!

PARKING: I had to park my car on the street, to take the "Rail" for 1.25$ it is not that bad, "Rail" in Houston is pretty nice and easy access, but why there is no free parking for those who have purchased tickets at those expensive prices? Tickets of Rodeo are not cheap, can I get a small parking lot for my car? PARKING AREA PLEASE!

ACESS: to get to stadium you have to walk walk, sweat, push here and there to arrive. Why there is no electric stairs taking people up, to the 2nd level? I had to walk the ramp, and it seems lots of people are not happy walking that way to get to the stadium.

STAFF: Hire better staff, more informed people and even if a guy have a french accent the staff should keep his smile on and welcome all tourists, you need to be more friendly less judgmental and inform the staff about the various events.

AIR PLEASE: Leaving the rodeo, why I should stand and wait to take the "rail" in a tent with no fans, no AC, no air. Really? it is enough the animal smell we had already, do we have to smell other people's sweat? BETTER ORGANIZATION PLEASE!

$ METHOD OF PAYMENT: Why some merchants do not accept credit/debit cards? why they just want cash money? I had to pay my friend's meal because he had no cash $ on him, for once he was willing to invite me for dinner but they refused his card, they just take cash money. So I had to pay his and my meal. This is a Big event, guys you need to accept all types of payments. come on! BETTER SERVICE PLEASE!
