How do you incorporate some of the best dancing, best vocals, best theatrical performance and have it all on one stage? The answer, you welcome to the stage the talented sister and brother act that has come along since Donnie and Marie – Julianne and Derek Hough. Julianne and Derek teamed up for their first tour and brought their Move Live on Tour show to the Paramount Theater Tuesday night at the Paramount Theater in Denver, CO and there was standing room only. They shared the stage with 10 other talented dancers that helped pack the house. And they did not just keep their dancing on the stage. Julianne and Derek took it to the audience and interacted with various audience members. But aside from dancing, Julianne and Derek shared many songs as well as Julianne sang many of her original hits.
Better known for Dancing with the Stars and a two in a row season winner, alumni Julianne Hough has left the dance floor to pursue her musical and acting career. And that is a good thing. Julianne Hough has been showing her talents at singing and writing music. Her love is country music. And her voice is one of the tops. Along with the singing Julianne has appeared in Burlesque which was a Golden Globe nomination in 2010. Julianne had the leading role of Footloose in 2011 as Ariel Moore. Julianne Hough and Tom Cruise helped make the movie Rock of Ages an award winning movie. Julianne also starred in the thriller Safe Haven. In 2011, Julianne Hough was named Female Rising Star by ShoWest.
Derek Hough is no stranger to the stage. He has been a competitive dancer on the television show Dancing with the Stars and has become a season winner a total of five times. And who knew this man could sing? Derek shared the stage with his sister Julianne and proved his talents with the microphone and won over many female fans with his vocals. The man has it all. He can move on stage, he can sing and he is one of the nicest performers that we have seen in a long time.
Siblings Derek and Julianne Hough provided what has been the best show that many have seen in years. They gave a two and a half hour performance and left the audience saying WOW!
