Hostess Gift Idea: local author releases dog photography e-book Greatest Clicks

Local author, Mark J. Asher, has done it again. You may recognize his name from his recently published dog memoir, “Humphrey Was Here.” His latest dog photography eBook entitled "Greatest Clicks: A Dog Photographer's Best Shots" features 40 of his best images with a brief recollection of each. I just downloaded it for $2.99 from Amazon. If you’re heading out to a party this weekend and want to thank your dog loving hostess for a good time and possibly apologize for having too many cocktails (yikes! happens to all of us!) this is the gift you should buy them. I had so much fun going through his photos. Plus, it’s the perfect distraction from work. When you make the purchase, it downloads to a Kindle Cloud digital reader format which at first I thought I couldn’t access since I don’t have a Kindle but it’s just a web page formatted for digital e-reading. It takes two seconds to download.

Purchase this now and send it to a friend as a thank you gift. I promise this gift is better than buying a coffee table photography book which I own many of and look at them once a year. As you know, I’m the lucky companion of a Beagle/Basset mix and Mark’s shot called: flop down is awesome!

About Greatest Clicks: From a Golden Retriever on a swing to a Standard Poodle tending bar, Greatest Clicks is a captivating collection of dog photographs that tickles the funny bone and touches the heart. The images—sweet, silly, and emotive—reveal the innocence and beauty of dogs and why we love them.

My favorite shots are: sweetness; first class mail; flop down; pug on rocks; rainbow bridge (maybe my favorite); old friend

Mark J. Asher is the author of three pet photography books. His first book Old Friends features senior dogs along with their longevity secrets. Mark's follow-up effort, Barking Up the Family Tree, captures kids with their cherished furry friends. Mark's third book, Bark & Ride, explores a world where dogs can drive. Mark recently published his first dog memoir entitled Humphrey Was Here.
