Spring is finally here! After one of the coldest winters ever on record in New York City, it is time to celebrate the warm weather and enjoy everything this great town has to offer including a cruise aboard Hornblower!

Last night, travel agents and members of the media gathered together to embrace the new season aboard a private party and tour of this delightful ship.

On two of the floors, a buffet-style dinner was served with pasta, tortellinis and vegetables. Passed hors d'oeuvres included: crab cakes, vegetarian spring rolls as well as shot-glass sized desserts including: chocolate mousse with brownies, lemon meringue and a full open bar to wash it all down with.

In the main dining area, a talented jazz band performed in the background making conversation easy, even quite pleasant. Towards the front of the boat, a dj played hit songs from all of the most recent eras: 80's, 90's and chart-toppers from the last few years including the early 2000's.

As guests frolicked about, dancing, catching up with colleagues and friends, the entire Hornblower experience was phenomenal. The exceptional crew was congenial and accommodating (even with a high-maintenance groups). The attentiveness aboard Hornblower was truly remarkable in a day and age where superb service seems to have fallen to the wayside.

The Hornblower Premier Manhattan Dinner Cruise package includes house wine and mineral water throughout the evening as well as a welcome drink and a three course a la carte menu with dessert stations. Signature coffee and teas are also served. The price is $110.00 per person (plus tax, service charge and landing fee) and Boards at 6:30 p.m. from Pier 40, 353 West Street and departs at 7:00 p.m.

Hornblower also has upcoming special events and are available for weddings as well as much more.
