Manga Review

“March Story” is a dark fantasy manga by Kyung-il Yang. In 18th century Europe, demons known as the Ill, who are created from the emotional pain of their creator, stalk humans. They can possess objects and can permanently claim a human once they kill somebody. The Ciste Vihad are hunters that fight the Ill. March is a female Ciste Vihad who has to disguise her gender due to the fact that she’s possessed by an Ill. Can she break her curse?

This is one of the best mangas ever created, with a moving story and excellent artwork. The best part of the story is that the Ill have free will, which means that they’re capable of doing genuine good as well as evil. The only problem is that the series is far too short, leaving the reader with the feeling that it’s only scratched the surface. Honolulu manga fans should read it as soon as they can.
