Manga Review

“Love Bus Stop” is a yaoi anthology by Ritsu Natsumizu. The stories called the ‘Bus Stop trilogy’ deals with Tsuzuki fantasizing about a dark haired man that he saw at the bus stop. They finally meet, but will they consummate their relationship? ‘All My Flowers’ deals with a middle school teacher and a flower shop owner developing their relationship as they teach a vocational program for students at their flower shop.

The concept is a pretty interesting one, although it’s a bit of a bummer that the author doesn’t explore the philosophical and psychological implications of the title trilogy. After all, it’s all too easy to fall in love with the image that you’ve built up in your mind rather than the real person. Although the story hints that the characters may become a couple. Still, the stories are fine and the artwork is decent. This is a decent manga for Honolulu yaoi fans.
