The art exhibit that hit the public on Saturday, July 5th was a huge success. Artist, Elizabeth Amaral, is a local from Ewing, New Jersey.
As a full-time supporter of the arts at Trenton Social, and a part-time employee, Amaral presented “Heterogeneous” for the first time. The show displayed her creativity with a diverse use of acrylics, ink, and paper marbling.
Her art embraced every viewer in some form or another, with intricate ink designs, texture and layers of color that paved a gateway of imagination into your soul.
Experimenting with different techniques to keep her creativity flowing, Amaral has always been an artist of some form. Thanks to the talent and friendships of the Trenton art community, she has since found the inspiration to start painting again.
Heterogeneous will be on show at The Trenton Social, 449 S. Broad St. (Trenton, NJ 08611), until Friday, August 1st.
Be sure to stop in and check her work out!
The single-story building at 449 South Broad Street is where Hamilton Avenue ends, and some of Trentons most pioneering ventures have started. The property underwent extensive renovations in the late 1990s, and opened just before the new Millennium as the beloved, art-infused Urban Word Cafe. A variety of dining concepts followed, as well as the 449 Room bar and live music venue.
In 2011, more than a decade after Urban Word Cafe paved the way, Trenton Social opened its doors and instantly became a gathering place for the capital city. Artists, community leaders, politicians, musicians, athletes, and foodies together at tables in the dining room, and next to each other at the bar. This is where great connections are made over cocktails and a meal. Come see what happens next.
