Hervé Léger by Max Azria

Max Azria delivered an impactful Hervé Léger collection for the house's historical timeline. The bandage technique evolved further this season spilling into "car wash" strips about the legs in one dress and making up a jumpsuit with cutouts and a cage design about the bodice and legs. Afterall, Hervé Léger is all about sex and it was there in caged harnesses and peek-a-boo cutouts at the sternum... racy.

Models charged down the runway in that Hervé Léger warrior style in more-than-a-peep-toe thigh-high boots and feathers. Oh, the feathers. Feathers trimmed mini skirts; the arms of knit frocks; and jackets emphasizing the ferocity of the Hervé Léger woman. Those feathers are removable attached with zippers which is such a no-brainer. Have you ever owned a piece trimmed in feather? No dry cleaning, dolls, for a piece that was probably quite costly.

The collection reflected the transformation Lubov and Max are taking the Hervé Léger woman. Metallic bandage dresses with sheer and studded details contouring the feminine form is how the design house is evolving. Waist corsets are experimented with further this season appearing in bright orange which will do as well as last season's belted harness.

Check out the first 20 looks of the collection in the slideshow. A second post with the remain runway looks to follow.
