Nothing ever goes as planned and while this old time prohibition style circus act was a bit on the unusual, Hendrick’s Gin performed as the true star. Forget the folksy band act with blinding spot lights, the fake acrobats, little people, and prohibition era bar holes with illusionary visions of oddity. This is a well crafted and staged marketing team concept of live performance art. This event was down right fun. I am glad the Boston market was well represented in the Space venue of the revamped Revere Hotel.
I know the backside of this event took exceptional planning, execution and skill. However, for the waiter, who dumped his tray of drinks on me without an apology, I ended my journey’s desire to interview the Hendrick’s Brand Ambassador and left early smelling of stylized gin and hair tonic.
