Harley-Davidson Bar and Shield Water Bottle.

Even in colder weather riders still need to stay hydrated and many carry a bottle of water or two on trips or are in the habit of just having some water handy.
In these greener times it is good to have a refillable or reusable water bottle. Water bottles come in metal or plastic and in a wide range of colors and finishes.
I was looking for one this past summer and came across the Tervis Bar and Shield Water Bottle at my local Harley-Davidson dealership. Cost is a bit over twenty dollars.
This water bottle has some unique features one is it’s double walled construction which allows you to fill the bottle with ice cubes and not worry about condensation forming on the outside, the lid features a big loop on top allowing a good grip, I have also seen other riders attach a carabineer to it and hang them off their belts and bags.
The bottle does a good job of keeping water cold even in in hot temperatures ice does not melt fast. The bottle tapered shape allows it to fit easily into a cup holder or back pack water bottle pocket. The spout is big enough to allow adding water flavor enhancers easily. It holds twenty ounces of liquids, stands just under a foot tall and is almost four inches wide.

I got a lot of nice comments on my bottle, the Harley-Davidson bar and shield logo is an actual patch not a sticker.

The bottle is made in the USA by the Tervis Tumbler Company with their headquarters in North Venice, Florida.
The company was founded in 1946 by two engineers Frank Cotter and G.Howlett Davis. Tervis is a combination of the last three letters of their last names. The Donelly Family bought the rights of their products in the 1950’s.
The Harley-Davidson product for this item is HRLY-1-25-PRML.
