Hamilton, Bermuda: Bistro at the Beach (Photos)

If you're visiting the city of Hamilton in Bermuda and you're looking for a quick place to grab lunch, or even dinner, consider visiting Bistro at the Beach. Located right on Front Street, it's just a short walk from the ferry. Though rather small, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

We were seated outdoors and had a nice little area. Though it was very hot out that day, we were at least shaded and they brought us plenty of water. The first dish that we tried was the curry chicken wrap. We appreciated the fact that they had a more exotic option here, given that so much of what Bermuda serves is seafood. The curry wrap was extremely delicious, with just the right amount of spices and flavorings. It was rather messy, but they gave us plenty of napkins.

The other dish that we sampled was the tomato, mozzarella, and basil sandwich. This is one of my favorite flavor combinations and they did not disappoint here. The bread was nice and crispy, and there was a good ratio of all the ingredients so that nothing was too overpowering. They definitely weren't skimpy with the fresh basil either, which I find can sometimes be an issue with caprese sandwiches. Both of the meals came with a small side salad.

While the food was extremely good and just what we needed, I wouldn't say it was outstanding. But the highlight here was the fact that the prices were cheaper than a lot of other places in Bermuda. Prices can be very high, and we only paid about $26 for the two of us for lunch. We were also in and out very quickly, so if you're just looking for a place to spend half an hour for lunch that isn't going to break the bank, this is your place.

Bermuda Bistro at the Beach serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are open from 10am til midnight. You can find them at 103 Front Street, Hamilton, Bermuda.
