Halloween is just around the corner, making it a great time to test out the trend of hair chalking. I met up with the people of HairColorChalk at Cosmoprof Las Vegas and they gave me samples of their high quality hair chalk to try.
HairColorChalk has in my opinion, the best application system of the hair chalks. To use, simply separate the hair, open the compact and pull it through with your thumb holding it in place. This makes it easy to control where the color goes, especially if you want to apply more than one color. Many of the hair chalks I have seen have an awkward applicator that you dip into a bottle and doesn't provide a good application.
If your hair is dry or coarse, you can spray it with a little water to get the color to absorb faster. Keep pulling the hair through to get the desired color.
