Hacienda Colorado, located Westminster at 10422 Town Center Dr. is Mexican food with a twist or as they call it 'Mountain Mex'. A fun place with great food, just not like the Mexican food you may be used to.
Hacienda Colorado's menu is different than most people are accustomed to. If you enjoy 100% authentic Mexican(good luck getting it in Colorado) then maybe this isn't for you, but go in with the understanding that is a uniquely satisfying Colorado style restaurant, you will leave happy! In fact, while eating at Hacienda Colorado, I overheard a table near me. They were talking about the food they were eating, not because it was bad, but because it was too 'Americanized' for them, but they admitted it tasted very good. I wanted to walk up to them and explain Hacienda Colorado never claimed to offer anything but a cuisine unlike any other. This is their 'Mountain Mex' creation and it is great!!
Even though Hacienda Colorado's cuisine may be a little misunderstood by some people, it is loved by many. By putting their own vision and flair to Mexican food, they have created a restaurant like no other. So, if you want to try something unique and fun, run on down and try Hacienda Colorado with an open mind, you will not be disappointed! Oh, and try one of their Patron Margarita's......WOW!
