In Guns 4 Hire, you play as four hired guns: L.T., Faraday, Burns, and Boomer. You get hired to do various missions; these missions involve securing enemy intelligence, finding golden laptops, and neutralizing targets. Other missions involve infiltrating areas and destroying car bombs. As you complete each mission, you earn cash which you could then use to upgrade your team. With every upgrade, you increase attributes such as accuracy, damage, rate of fire, range, spread, and reload. There are also special upgrades for air strikes, grenades, land mines, and turrets. The upgrades can be purchased with either cash or diamonds; it's better to purchase the upgrades with cash instead of diamonds, as diamonds cost money to get. One feature that is really interesting is the most wanted search. In this feature there are twenty cards similar to playing cards of wanted people that are scattered around the various areas. Each card has a different cash reward to it. When you click on a card, you are asked whether you want to search for that card, and you are shown the cash reward for finding the person on the card. If you click on yes, a timer appears on top of the card you choose, and you receive the given time to find the person. If you have enough diamonds, you can exchange the required number of diamonds to speed past the time. If you choose to speed past the time, a bulls-eye appears on the card; once you click on the bulls-eye, you are taken to the mission where the person on the card is. The layout of this game is really good; it's really easy to go through the menus and upgrade your characters and special equipment. The game play is pretty fun; I like going though the areas and taking out the enemies. Also all of your special equipment is on the right side of the screen and easily accessible. The best specials to use during the missions are the mines and turrets; they can really help you in a tough spot. The missions do get more challenging, but it's fun to keep trying to complete them. Guns 4 hire is a really fun and engaging game to play, and the best part of the game is trying to collect all the wanted cards.
