For those who want my inner mind’s thoughts on the show Grey’s Anatomymay I suggest you check out my reviews of “The Musical Event’ episode ‘A Song Within A Song’ or ‘Adrift and at Peace’ where I delve more into the previous season. This is more about the DVDs themselves.

The seventh season starts with the characters of Seattle Grace emerging from the horrific events that transpired in the previous season finale. Will Ellen Pompeo‘s Meredith Grey have a baby with her love McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey’s Dr. Derek Shepherd). Or what about the show’s continual highlights of Sandra Oh‘s Dr. Cristina Yang who battles for semblance for control of her life and the lack thereof she feels she has. Will her husband Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) be able to help her? How will it affect their marriage? And don’t even get me started on Sara Ramirez’s Callie and Dr. Sloan (Eric Dane).

Featuring Dolby Digital Stereo, the DVDs, like the show, are shot and screened in Widescreen (1.78:1) – Enhanced for HD Television, and features Spanish and French subtitles. The extras are mostly hollow, in this reviewer’s opinions, despite I’m sure big Grey’s fans won’t have any complaints, with extras such as the EXTENDED musical event episode, behind the scenes of the said-event, outtakes and unaired scenes from the entire season and webisodes made for ABC.com. Overall, for fans this DVD is a not-miss, while for those who are a bit more casual about Grey’s, I’d suggest to pass it. Spend your money on the much better CougarTown: The Completed Second Season or Castle: The Completed Third Season.
