Greenman Event at 12 South Taproom

Last night I attended the Greenman Brewery event at 12 South Taproom as part of Nashville Craft Beer Week. It was nice to see so many people coming out to support Nashville Craft Beer Week and our new beer friends from Asheville.

Greenman brought 3 beers with them and they were: the IPA, the ESB and the Imperial Stout. My ranking on the beers would be IPA, ESB and the Imperial Stout. The stout was good but it would not be something that I would want to drink on a daily basis. It was a good Imperial Stout with a strong alcohol presence but that is not my favorite style. The IPA on the other hand would be a beer that I could drink daily, if not for all the good local beer that we have here of course. The beer is just a great balance of malts and hops and is just terrific. The ESB is also excellent and has a much light hop presence for those that are not hop heads.

If you did not have a chance to try this beer last night, I am sure that Greenman is on tap at some of your favorite watering holes. After you try the beer let me know what you think. Check me out on Untapped and Facebook at Princessofhops.
