As you may know next week is Nashville Craft Beer Week and there are numerous events going on all across the city. One event that jumped out to me is 12 South Tap tap takeover by Greenman Brewery.
If you have read any of my Asheville articles then you will recall that Greenman was one of the many breweries that I went to see and one of the best. The reason why this event stands out is because the Asheville breweries never seemed to be available in Tennessee. However, recently it seems Greenman has jumped into Middle Tennessee. I hope that means Greenman will be here to stay. They brew some excellent beers and are worth a try, especially the ESB and IPA.
As for the event on March 19th at 12 South, I am not sure what beers Greenman will be bringing but I imagine they will bring the ESB and IPA along with some other terrific choices. So far the brews that I have found here form Greenman have been fresh and really terrific. Either way the beer is sure to good.
So on Tuesday March 19th head out to 12 South and try some Greenman beer. Let’s keep supporting the beer growth in Tennessee. Also do not forget to look in The Nashville Scene and on Nashville Craft Beer Week website for a list of all the events.
