Green Grocer

The somewhat new Green Grocer located just south of Mockingbird Lane on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas is worth a stop in. They may have some large competition with the new Trader Joes located about a mile farther down the road, but they are bringing some intimacy to the table.

Local, organic, and unusual meats are available both frozen and fresh. If you are looking for something rare and specific in the meat or cheese department, check out Green Grocer. Go hungry so you can order a deli sandwich as well. Their dry foods are just as unique and intriguing, with of course an interesting selection of craft beer.

Make sure to take a look at the refrigerated section for the chocolate macaroons made by Hail Merry. Yum!

Overall worth a stop in for some fun organic finds. Prices are a little high but they make up for it with their friendly staff and dog water bowl outside.
