Gossip Girl made its return after the hiatus and things are right where we left them. Serena is at her mother's throat, Blair is backstabbing her mom, and Dan is still running after S. And we can't forget about Chuck who is still running the Upper East Side, at least for now.
Blair's mother is even more fierce than she is. Giving her some stern words then firing her from the internship to only tell her off. It was simply beautiful. Although, she is still a mom and accepts Blair with open arms after she apologizes. Who know, maybe B will become the next Anna Wintour.
The movie night Blair and Dan had during the holidays could possibly lead to bigger and better things. Right now it just seems like Queen B and Dan are actual friends but now off on their second semi-date, or friendly outing, could the drama become even more intense?
S truly believes that the world revolves around her. Getting in the way of Dan's career opportunity once wasn't enough for her so she was about to do it again. Luckily, Dan is just a tad smarter than that and walked away while he still could. Let's just hope that he is walking away from her for good. No guy deserves what S dishes out. However, after Ben was released from prison, he coincidently ran into S who invited him out to coffee. So if S is with Ben and B isn't thinking about Chuck, could this mean that B is headed towards Brooklyn?
Will Bass Industries go down in flames now that Mr. Russell Thorpe has bought the company. He did promise Chuck moments before that if he were to by the company, he'd dismantle the entire thing. Chuck has his own way of dealing with things, sleeping with the enemy's daughter. Touche Chuck, touche.
By the way, where was Juliet? Is she officially off the show?
