Gossip Girl: End of an affair

The 2012 premiere of Gossip Girl could have possibly been the most gut-wrenching and emotional episode to date.

It breaks my heart to not only see Blair lose the baby, but to see her fighting with herself about who she is going to spend the rest of her life with. On top of that, to see Chuck that depressed, confused and upset about not knowing what is going on with Blair and why she's avoiding him just takes the episode over the edge.

Serena is surprisingly the one with common sense in this episode. However, can you blame Blair for believing what she believes? What would you do if you were in her shoes and made a promise to God? Would you break that promise to be with the person you love, or would you marry the person you could live with and be miserable for the rest of your life because you know your true love is out there wanting to be with you? Some may say it's easy for Blair to choose Louie because of the promise she made, but could you really live with yourself knowing that you're not with your true love.

Oh boy, this episode took a turn when Serena and Dan faked being together. This will definitely lead them to ending up together again. But wait... aren't they siblings now?

And what about miss Charlotte Rhodes. Will Lily and everyone else in the Upper East Side finally see Ivy for who she is? Someone needs to eventually clear this mess up, because it's been dragging on for way too long.
