Gloria Estefan made an exciting entrance walking through the crowd Thursday night to begin her concert at the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino. The enormous banquet hall turned concert venue that was nearly sold to capacity exploded upon realizing that the Cuban singer came in singing right amongst them.
Looking amazing, the 53-year old, still tiny even on her high heels and platform shoes, sang as good as ever, jumped, danced, and joked on stage. “Taking advantage of technology,” Gloria said, a large screen behind her received song requests texted on the spot by the audience. Intermittently it also became a marriage proposal delivery service from the ladies in the crowd to Gloria’s handsome conga player, Daniel.
Gloria performed songs old and new for about an hour and a half. She dedicated her famous “Coming Out of the Dark” to the miners in Chile and introduced new music from her last CD. Her husband, Emilio Estefan, stepped on stage and waved, for which he received an enthusiastic response.
The last song was very much expected by everyone... except Security. “Conga” created a conga line going up and down the rows of chairs that went quite well, quite happy, and included the added amusement of a “What do we do now?” face on every other security guard.
This was one of the San Manuel Casino’s headliner entertainment events, which will see Al Green on October 21 and Trini Lopez on December 2, amongst others. More information at http://www.sanmanuel.com/en/entertainment/headliner-events

Gloria was PHENOMENAL as always and truly giving to all her fans... Keep in mind this space is not a theater and seating is totally flat... if you're not in the front of the venue..you will not enjoy...they should have build a theater if they wanted to attract headliners,, this is a bingo hall.
I flew in from Dallas Texas just to see Gloria in concert. Yeah, the venue not the best, but I had great seats, so I did not care that it was a bingo HALL. Gloria you are the BEST, and THANK you for the adventure of a lifetime!!! much love from Dallas, TX
Gloria was Fantastic. A Great Concert. Don't miss a chance to see her live. The venue was dissapointing, though. A flat ballroom (Bingo Hall). I was lucky to be only 15 rows back and on the aisle.
