Quotes Melanie in one chapter, "Cream eye shadow adds depth, and loose pigments add richness. A fine loose pigment blends onto your lid like nobody's business and delivers intense color. I apply cream shadow first and then lock in the color with a layer of loose pigment. You get a serious color blast that almost looks airbrushed, not to mention will last all night. My favorite loose pigments are from MAC, Gleam, and Make Up For Ever."
