Giovanni's Concessions is amore for your taste buds (Photos)

Fair season is upon us, and with the fair comes rides, cotton candy, hot dogs, Sno Cones, freshly squeezed lemonade, and in Arizona, Giovanni’s New York Italian Sausage.

Family owned and operated, Giovanni’s Concessions, travels the fair circuit unwrapping delectable treats from their coil sausage made from scratch. The recipe is a family recipe, and the sausage is to die for! All natural ingredients include sautéed onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and fresh basil with a hint of garlic.

One tasty bite sent the juices dribbling down my chin, and my taste buds immediately began singing, “That’s Amore!” Nestled inside a soft hoagie roll, paired with an ice cold Dr. Pepper to wash it down, the $11 dollar concession price (sandwich and soda) quickly faded from my mind.

Most recently, Giovanni’s could be found at the Maricopa County Fair and the Glendale Jazz and Blues Festival this past weekend. To keep up to date on events in the area where they can be found, Giovanni’s Concessions is conveniently found on Facebook. Full coils of the homemade masterpiece are available for purchase at $30 each.

Can’t wait for a festival event to try this yummy sausage? Giovanni’s is now being proudly served at the Scottsdale BBQ Company located on 8471 McDonald Drive.
