Looking for the right place to cha-cha-chaturanga and get your yoga groove on? Are you a yogi new to the Newtown area? Have you been thinking about starting a yoga practice, but are a little intimidated? Well, it looks like your requests have been answered! Look no further than Newton's own Yogasphere.
With yoga so popular these days, it may seem difficult to select the right studio for you. New fads in fitness and complicated gym memberships don't make it any easier. However, if finding the right place to practice yoga is important to you, you absolutely cannot go wrong at Buck's County's premiere yoga spot.
No matter your level or how busy you may be, Yogasphere has the right class for you. They are open seven days per week with class times throughout day and night. In addition, the fun is open to anyone, with both advanced and beginner classes, and everything in between. They even offer donation based classes, pre and post natal classes, children's classes, and guided meditation.
The studio is located above Sleepy's Mattress store off of Swamp Road right in Newtown borough. Walk up the stairs to the third floor and you will be blissfully welcomed by incense and candles on the way up. Sign in at the front desk, and make your way into their spacious practice space.
The studio itself appears to be the attic of a converted barn, with a huge vaulted ceiling, and vintage, sunny windows all around the room. It is beautifully decorated with candles and hurricane lamps. There is a large sound system for playing music during class and a convenient bathroom within the studio.
All classes are led by Yoga Alliance Certified Instructors, and are between 60 and 75 minutes long. Other perks include free hot tea after class, and various workshops each month, many of which are free. The owners also offer Teacher Training programs each year if you are interested in taking your practice to the next level.
