Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura is fed up with the government. In his book DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans, which was released in 2012, he express his anger with both political parties, regularly referring to them as "gangs."
Ventura feels that both parties are to blame for the problems in America today, and that blind party loyalty is destroying our country. He exposes things about President Obama, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and others. However, the former governor has positive things to say about Texas republican Ron Paul who has served in congress and ran for president in 1988, 2008, and 2012.
Ventura is a strong believer in the constitution and gives examples to how the two political party system is working to destroy it. Before being elected governor in 1998, Ventura was a mayor and a Navy SEAL who served during the Vietnam War. He also worked as a professional wrestler.
This was one of those books that I couldn't put down and got fired up by reading. Ventura has written several best sellers, but I think this is his best book yet. He is an interesting guy who is never shy about sharing his not so humble opinions. If you are a fan of Ventura or his books, or just want to read a book that will confirm that our government sucks, then I recommend you read this one.
