If Dr. Seuss were still alive, he would turn 99 years of age on March 2, and several places are celebrating his birthday with events. One of them is the Gail Borden Library in Elgin, Illinois.
There will be a Dr. Seuss Extravaganza, which will take place this Saturday, on March 2, from 2 until 4 p.m. and the event will take place in the lobby. It will feature the Children's Theatre of Elgin and one can watch scenes from the upcoming Seussical, Jr. and there will be a parade where Seuss fans can march into the Community Room for crafts and game stations.
