Imagine a combination of traditional Irish, hot Latin and powerful Afro-Cuban music, and you have just some idea of the magnitude of HEARTBEAT OF HOME, now playing at the Oriental Theatre through March 16. With a world-class cast of 37, this high energy, sexy, music and dance extravaganza will keep your heart pumping throughout the show. First, fans of Riverdance, will love a repeat performance of their favorite precision-based, perfectly-pointed, toe-stepping Irish dancing. Add in sultry Latin and Flameco dancers with Afro-Cuban rappers and blend in all of the music together and you have nothing short of incredible. Does it work? Absolutely!

It's not all dance either. The cutting-edge projection technology features colorful imagery that whisks the audience in and out of the dreamlike sequences. An on-stage ten-piece band also takes center stage with violin, bagpipe and percussion solos that take the house down. And, with their pure, joyous voices, the vocalists sing sweetly of their longing for home.

Produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan, along with Joseph O'Connor who produced Riverdance, Heartbeat of Home is a heart-stopping production that will stay with you long after the curtain goes down. Ciara Sexton and Bobby Hodges, both from Michael Flatley's "Lord of the Dance" are superb high-steppers as the featured Irish dancers.
