In the early morning hours of Friday, December 13, 2013, the world returns to the lands of Middle Earth once more; this time, to face a dragon.
The second component of the film adaptation of The Hobbit is now released to cinemas across the world. The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug follows the story of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen), and the Dwarves of Erebor as they continue their unexpected journey to the Lonely Mountain.
New places, adventures and characters lead the band of heroes to new enemies, allies and friends that will set the stage for the great war of Middle Earth. Old, beloved characters from the Lord of the Rings find their way to the screen and are welcomes by fans with loving arms.
