The second component of the film adaptation of The Hobbit is now released to cinemas across the world. The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug follows the story of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen), and the Dwarves of Erebor as they continue their unexpected journey to the Lonely Mountain.

New places, adventures and characters lead the band of heroes to new enemies, allies and friends that will set the stage for the great war of Middle Earth. Old, beloved characters from the Lord of the Rings find their way to the screen and are welcomes by fans with loving arms. New characters like Beorn the shape-shifter, Thranduil King of the Woodrealm, and Bard the Bowman take their place in the heart of the story. But who does the Dwarf company trust? And who is against them? And will they win the hearts of the passionate fans?

Villains grow in number as well. In an exciting pace of events, the heroes come face giant spiders of Mirkwood. They must continuously avoid the orcs hunting them down. The Nine have risen. A new and ancient evil will show its face. And the Dragon. Smaug the Terrible (Benedict Cumberbatch) emerges from the gold of the mountain to burn all and complete his desolation.

As they opening weekend of the film takes off, the world will finally see the creature in whole. Without handing out too many spoilers, the beast will leave audiences singed in their seats! The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug will satisfy and stir up anticipation all at once. Only one more film to go…
