Oops...it looks like the rumors regarding rocks worst kept secret may be true,one of Fleetwood Mac's founding member. Drummer Mick Fleetwood recently revealed, that after a 16-year absence, vocalist and keyboardist Christine McVie has reclaimed her position as a member of Fleetwood Mac, .

Christine McVie who originally was jointly responsible for forming the group in 1970 who slowly evolved into one of its strongest songwriters. Christine was the power house voice of Fleetwood Mac long before Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined on and transformed the ’60s British blues band into one of the late’70's international Rock acts ever.

Mick Fleetwood recently made the announcement after Fleetwood played with Willie K, an acoustic rendition of McVie's Rumours track "Songbird." For an audience at Uncle Willie K's BBQ Blues Fest in Maui, even before the band released the news formally. Even before Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks got on board for the groups 1975′s reboot, McVie stepped up even more, writing and singing some of Fleetwood Mac’s biggest hits. Which includes 'Over My Head', classics like, 'Say You Love Me', 'Don't Stop',and You Make Loving Fun'.

In late 2013, Christine McVie started rehearsing with Fleetwood Mac for two shows during the final leg of the group's European tour. Christine McVie joined the members of the band for a rousing performance of the Rumours cut "Don't Stop" at London's O2 Arena.

After her first appearance with the group after more than a decade away from them, the self-described "music'd out" singer said, "It was amazing, like I'd never left. I climbed back on there again and there they were, the same old faces on stage."

Meanwhile,front woman Stevie Nicks shrugged off the possibility of a full-scale reunion. Saying "That there's no more a chance of that happening than an asteroid hitting the earth, just simply
because that was all in the past, she's done with us."

But two months later, Christine McVie said to the press that,"If they were to ask me I would probably be very delighted, but it hasn't yet happened so we'll have to wait and see."

In response, Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks, said to her, ‘It’s your band, I don’t really think you have to ask.Because it’s your band. Ms.McVie. Fleetwood Mac-vie? So, Chris,it all depends,on you."

So now, according to Fleetwood Mac News, both Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham had previously confirmed to audience members at the group’s recent Las Vegas New Year’s shows that the group would be touring again in 2014, most likely in the summer, and this time with Christine McVie back in Fleetwood Mac for the first time since 1998.

Even though she's been gone a decade,Christine McVie has decided that she wants to rejoin Fleetwood Mac. Hey Christine, this time, "Don't Stop" because,"You Make Loving Your Music Fun!"
