Lake Cachuma is an artificial lake located off scenic Highway 154 in the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley. Cachuma Lake Recreation Area happily welcomes campers and fishing enthusiasts as well. The campsites here are spacious, and clean. The lake itself is beautiful, but swimming is not allowed here. Boating is a great experience here. It is possible to rent a boat for a day. The beautiful Lake Cachuma is a great place to fish for Bass, Crappie and Trout. One-day fishing licenses are also available for purchase at the marina store.
