I fell in love with blends when I had a white blend at a restaurant in Atlanta many years ago. This blend was a Tablas Creek white blend, and as soon as I had it, I wanted to go and visit the winery some day!

That day came recently when I was able to stop over at the vineyard, and enjoy a lovely tasting of their wines. I was in Paso Robles for just a short stopover, so I must go back! Paso Robles is in the Central California Wine region, and is known for producing some of the best wines in the world. The region was named top wine region of 2014, which tells you how good it is. There are a bunch of wineries in the area, from Jada to Tablas, and I will definitely be back!

At the end of my visit, I still bought the White Blend I had loved years ago, which tells me my initial instants were right on! Cheers to that!
