Filter at House of Blues Orlando

Filter performed at the House of Blues Orlando in Downtown Disney on the evening of August 3, 2014, in front of Orlando's most dedicated fans on their "Anti-Folk Revival Tour in Drop-D." These iconic 90's rock gods performed their hearts out and would have stayed all night if allowed.

It was a flashback in time for some of the crowd for as they could be heard speaking about a particular song of where they were when they first heard it and how many times they have seen Filter in concert. A majority of the fans knew every word in every song and never hesitated to sing along with Filter. A few toddlers even came for their show with their parents.

The front man of the group, Richard Patrick, was at the top of his game for his throat-ripping vocals the entire night. He used plenty of the stage moving from side to side and saving his small platform to lean against when he needed his lung capacity the most when his microphone would take a kind beating from his scorching vocals. The only issue that was widely seen and recognized was the lack of lighting on the artists. There was plenty of back lighting but it was difficult at most times to see the faces of the band who helped create the genre of alternative.

Filter currently has released six albums since their formation in 1993. Their last album was "The Sun Comes Out Tonight" (2013). They just released a single on July 29, 2014, "The Hand That's Dealt" which is currently available as a download on their website.
