Tollo is a small town located in the Chieto region of Abruzzo on Italy’s Adriatic coastline. Tollo’s roots go back to the Roman Empire. Tollo is known for vineyards and olive groves and it’s close proximity to the Adriatic Sea.
Feudo Antico is producing high quality wines using the native grapes of Abruzzo. Feudo Antico uses natural techniques from vineyard to bottle to have minimal impact on the environment. Tallum is one of Feudo Antico’s brands that produce small quantities of high quality native wines.
Feudo Antico, Tallum, Passerina, 2012 is light yellow in color. Passerina is a native grape of Abruzzo and its neighboring region Marche. The skins are left in contact with the juice before and during fermentation leading to a super aromatic wine filled with cut hay, lemon, wild flowers and plenty of minerals. The palate is filled with peach, tart lemon, wild flowers and minerals. The Tallum Passerina is very well balanced and elegant.
Enjoy the Tallum Passerina on its own as an aperitif or enjoy with light seafood or poultry preparations.
