It starts in a annual event in a miserable place in North America where residents of different geographic regions are forced to participate in an annual televised death match called The Hunger Games.

One boy and one girl aged 12–18 from each of the twelve districts surrounding the Capitol are selected by lottery to compete in a televised battle to the death.

It is written in the voice of 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives after a nuclear war in Panem in the North America area. The Capitol, a highly advanced metropolis, exercises political control over the rest of the nation.

The Hunger Games, followed by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in 2013, the second book in The Hunger Games trilogy. As the sequel it's 2008 bestseller.

The Hunger Games, continues the story of Katniss Everdeen after the nuclear war of Panem. Following the events of the previous novel, a rebellion against the oppressive Capitol has begun, and Katniss and fellow tribute Peeta Mellark are forced to return to the arena... and us to the theater........ in a special edition of the Hunger Games.

But now what we haven't seen. The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire for it's gran finale; when it presents, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" Part 1 coming out the fall of 2014.

Yes indeed, ths worldwide phenomenon continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen ...Jennifer District 13. Katniss agrees to unify the districts of Panem in a rebellion exercising power in a cruel way in this capitol.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 fades to black, just as we're reminded if we want to see more we have to wait for it's sequel.

In this series finale, Mockingjay Part 2. The fourth film in the franchise, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. Not too much is being revealed about the movie, Mockingjay Part 2 . But based on the novel, Katniss Everdeen and it's endless all star cast living in District 13 engage in an all-out revolution against the absolute power of the capitol. The film will be released mid 2015, so it'll have a chance to generate a buzz before the DVD box set of all 4 comes out Xmas of 2015.

The late Philip Seymour Hoffman remaining scenes left incomplete in Mockingjay Part 2" even deceased he has recently also finished shooting.Thanks to Lionsgate digitally-recreate Hoffman...who played head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee in the series for one major scene in Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.

The production company behind The Hunger Games movie franchise has reportedly found a solution for the remaining scenes left incomplete by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. According to Page Six, Lionsgate plans to digitally-recreate Hoffman -- who played head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee in the series -- for one major scene in Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.

With CGI technology they editted film rather than rewriting the script, or hiring a new actor The beloved actor was set to reprise his role as Heavensbee in Parts 1 and 2 of Mockingjay. While Hoffman had already completed most of his scenes for Part 1, he still had seven days left to shoot on Part 2.
