With loud casinos, bustling restaurants, and an energetic nightlife, finding a peaceful haven in Atlantic City is almost impossible. Most people visit the casino ridden town for the chaos, but what if you're trying to escape that and relax? The Exhale Spa at the Revel Resort and Casino is the perfect oasis to regroup and recharge.

Exhale Spas are found in most big cities including Miami, Chicago and here in NYC. Known for their Core Fusion workouts, Exhale Spas offer everything from yoga to spa services to health retreats.

I spent a few nights at the Revel last week to escape everyday life. I'm not a big gambler and I didn't want to saturate myself in nightclubs or at bars, so I got a day pass to the Exhale Spa inside the Revel. That was one of the smartest ideas I've had in a long time.

This Exhale locale is astounding. I was shocked on how breathtaking the decor was. With floor to ceiling mosaic tiles, huge marble slab walls and tranquil accent art, this is by far one of the best looking spas I've ever visited. I was expecting a normal looking hot tub in a room with stark white walls and a few buddhas. Never did I expect the grand bathhouse I stepped into. The locker rooms were spotless and all of the spa attendants were hospitable.

My day-pass included use of their zen lounge, sauna and steam rooms, bathhouse, and hamman. I first floated around in the massive large jacuzzi pool, then made my way up to the hot tub. I lounged around in the zen lounge and drank green tea (there's a lounge in both the men's and women's locker room and a unisex lounge in the bathhouse), I layed in the sauna for awhile, then hung out in the salt grotto. I felt so relaxed, that I lost track of time and ended up spending almost 4 hours there. It was like I was in a serenity den and nothing could bring me back. The tranquil music playing and ambiance of Exhale Spa Atlantic City makes you forget that you're in Atlantic City.

After my long peaceful experience, I headed back to the locker room which is fully equipped with Exhale beauty products and indulged in a shower. Yes, indulged because even the showers at this place are like treatments.

Conclusion:

Exhale Spa is a must the next time you visit Atlantic City. The day pass was enough for me, but add in a massage or facial to get the a total spa experience. They even offer acupuncture.

Surprisingly, there were many men here, (when I say many, I mean more than I usually see at spas) which I thought was very cool. My guest was a male and he adored the entire encounter.

Tips:

-Get there early so you have more time to hang out. The spa is large and there's lots to do. You don't want to feel rushed.

-Exhale Atlantic City is open until 9pm, so take advantage and use it as a nightcap.

-Don't bring your beauty products. Use the Exhale collection in the locker room. Their product line is natural, smells so crisp and includes everything from shampoo to deodorant. It was my first time using Exhale products and now I'm nuts over them.
