Evo Hair: Saving Ordinary Humans From Themselves (Photos)

Recently I came across this company called evo, an Australian hair care line that recently launched in the U.S.

Evo is quickly becoming a go-to for many with their humorously cheeky copy, honest philosophy and products that really deliver. I received a goodie pack the other week with a ton of fabulous finds!

My First Impression:

I really dug the packaging! It is youthful and funny! It's minimalist look gives the impression that its less about gimmicks and more about what is inside! I love how they divide their products into categories including -- calm, care, volume, curl, straight, and style so that you can completely customized their line to your unique hair.

and oh boy is my hair unique! It airs on the side of damaged due to my blonde addiction. I love a ton of body and volume no matter whether I wear it curly or pin straight.

Testing, Testing, Testing!

A lot of solid items from this company! Week 1 I noticed a visible difference in the texture of my hair feeling less brittle from using the calming shampoo and conditioner. To top that off, the smoothing fluid did the trick to make my hair soft and manageable without weighing it down.

My Favorite:

Hands down the Great Hydrator! I took a tub tonight (what else to do in 20 degree weather) and I put a quarter size amount through my hair from root to tip. I was a little nervous at first, it came out looking like petroleum jelly. Eeck! Thankfully I just went with it! I kept it on a bit longer than the recommended 5 minutes. Once I washed it out of my hair -- oh my -- my hair felt like butter! or BUTTAH as we say in Boston.

Everyday Use:

Easy choices -- the End Doctor and the Easy Tiger. They are a must for keeping my hair tame and healthy. What is great about these is that they are perfect for achieving healthy hair with minimal upkeep. Neither feel greasy or heavy -- but keep hair balanced from root to tip. I can easily put theses in and rock a natural look without having it book unkempt. Hair needs a break from curling irons, straighteners, an product overload now and again. This is the only way to do it in my book!

These products ditch the hype and really deliver! Definitely worth a look!
