Every day is discount day at Good Samaritan Family Thrift Store

Every day is discount day at Good Samaritan Family Thrift Store. Each day of the week a different discount is offered. Taking advantage of the color of the week, as well as the daily discount that best applies to you, is a great way to save on fashions, shoes and accessories for the whole family.

Oliver Gospel Mission's Good Samaritan Family Thrift Store at 10012 Two Notch Road has quickly become a favorite haunt for Columbia thrifty fashion shoppers. The staff is friendly, grateful for community support, and very helpful. There is free off-street parking and handicapped access; space is adequate but somewhat limited. Donations are accepted at the red door to the right of the building. Please note ways to save even more every day:

  • Monday is Military Discount Day – show a valid military ID and save 10%
  • Tuesday is Student Discount Day – show a valid student ID and save 10%
  • Wednesday is Senior Discount Day – show a photo ID and save 10%
  • Thursday is Ladies’ Day – all ladies receive 10% discount
  • Friday is Men’s Discount Day – all men receive 10% discount

Each week a particular color tag is reduced to $1.00 or sometimes to fifty cents. Check the front door to see what color tag is currently marked down.

Good Samaritan Family Thrift Store has racks of new and gently used clothing for men and women, juniors and young men, girls and boys, and infants and toddlers. Everything is in good to excellent condition and the price range is extremely thrift-conscious. There is a marvelous selection of dressy and casual shoes in a wide selection of sizes, with plenty of pretty dress and casual boots for fall. A few pairs are usually brand new and still in boxes.

The sparkling jewelry counter has tribal and ethnic necklaces, chic multi-bangle bracelets, French hook earrings, a few watches, a confection of dressy hats, handbags and accessories.

Good Samaritan Family Thrift Store is surely worth adding to your favorite “fishing holes.” It also feels good to know that every piece of clothing we select and every pair of shoes we bring home helps Columbia’s homeless by providing meals and temporary shelter.

Too often, the store is not crowded and there are few customers seeking out fashion finds. The prices are competitive with Goodwill Thrift Stores. Let's help to fill the parking lot and the aisles more often. There are some real treasures just waiting to be found.

As always, maximize your style and minimize your spending~
